HOW TO: Backup a Customer Space

To back up user space, follow these steps:

  • Login to the control panel
  • Under Hosting Spaces > click your hosting space
  • Under "Nested Spaces" click "All Spaces"
  • Click the space you want to backup
  • In the right column, click "backup"
  • set your backup file name, set "Copy Backup to:" To Hosting Space Folder, "HostingSpace" should be preselected, "Folder:" set this to the location you want the backup file placed in.
  • Click "Backup". Backup progress screen will open
  • Click "Close" after the backup process is complete.
