FAQ: Why is the design feature greyed out in Enterprise Manager?

The reason why you would not be able to use the design feature (greyed out), is because some objects in your database are not owned by the user "dbo".

Objects can be tables, views or stored procedures.

Always make sure all your objects are owned by "dbo".
