HOW TO: How do I connect to my Windows server? (Windows)

Remote Desktop Connection is a program included with most Microsoft operating systems that allows you to make a connection to your server. This connection allows you to access your server directly from a remote location, as if you were sitting in front of the machine.
There are several ways to open up the RDP program depending on your version of Windows:

Click Start > All programs or Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop connection
Click Start > Run > input mstsc.exe and click OK

Once the Remote Desktop Connection window opens up, you will prompted for your computer address. Input your server IP to connect and once prompted your login and password.

All ResellerChoice servers come with 2 RDP licences (add-on available at an additional fee).
